Mail lists

There are about 20 or 30 Introduction to Zope-related mailing lists. The zope list is the main one, with 3000+ direct subscribers. Most lists are conveniently mirrored as newsgroups at gmane.org.

Gmane search is slow and not always reliable, hence the google alternatives.

Another good way: point a news reader like Thunderbird at one of the gmane newsgroups (use the subscribe feature, or browse the group and select Information in the action menu to get an nntp url). Download all headers. Browse the group or filter by subject/sender.

To view a thread at gmane, click the message subject.

i found the new gmanbe search very fast, google searching gmane seems to be broken now (what is article.gmane.org ?)
