The Zope Documentation Project (ZDP) was a community project formed early in Zope's history to tackle the documentation problem. Being the only one left to use the ZDP for putting up Zope documentation, MaikRoeder? decided to join Zope 2 wiki and abandon the ZDP site for good.
The needs of the early ZDP inspired ZWiki.

What if we set up a ZWiki on the ZDP Website for discussing ZopeZen? --TresSeaver?
Personally I think it's a must. The ZDP has been one of my big motivations for pushing ZWiki forward. I'd be happy to see it available for use on zdp.zope.org, for those who want it. I've been meaning to mention zwiki on the ZDP list again. --Simon
PS thinking about how it might be usefully combined with existing content.. it occured to me that the fine existing ZDP pages could probably be made zwiki pages and still look and work the same. Not saying it's desirable, just noting the possibility.. --Simon
Great! So this is one of the ZDP tools we were all waiting for. Good thing for the ZDP Weekly News. And also now we can easily post drafts for more visibility and follow-up. --Kamon
If ZWiki pages are Zope objects, how hard would it be merge a FAQ structure like the two Zope FAQ products on the Zope pages with ZWiki, such that the internal contents of the FAQ were stored as structured text and processed by ZWiki? It might be an interesting way to make such a FAQ collaborative, and get us a very quick start on the CoolFAQProduct which was bruited about on the list during its initial formation. --HCSIII
I think it's a great idea space to explore, I'll help however I can. --Simon
