AdapterRegistry

The adapter registry is used to store global (placeless) adapter definitions. File-based products can register adapters with the global registry.

As a matter of principle, I think that [Product]? and [FileBasedProduct]? should be explained formally in the Glossary. I resist the notion that you would need to understand anything about Zope 2 before you can read and understand the Zope 3 design documents.
