Zope 3 Sub-Projects

• Zope 3 Using Python 2.5

  Updating and testing Zope 3 with Python 2.5.

• Zope3Internationalization

  This project will insure that Zope is fully I18n/L10n enabled. I18n is horror in Zope 2, since it does not support Unicode fully; in Zope 3 we try to develop the entire framework in such a way that any component can support this important feature.

• Zope3Workflow

  An important feature for an Application Server is a good workflow engine. There has been a lot of work in this are in Zope 2 and Zope 3 will profit from that experience.

• Zope3UIProjects

  There is a lot of work to be done related to user interfaces. See also Zopetop (Zope3 TTW management interface) and ZopeUI

• WebServices

  This project area / SIG is focused on the development of a robust Web Services infrastructure for Zope 3.

• Zope3SecurityEvaluation

  This project is focused on obtaining a common criteria EAL1 certificate for the Zope 3 security infrastructure.

• ZConfig

  This is the package used for end-user configuration of Zope 3. It is also used for Zope 2, SFTPGateway, and other Zope Corporation projects.

• Documentation

  In order for Zope 3 to be successful we need rich documentation right from the beginning. This sub-projects deals with all aspects of documentation.

• LDAP Authentication

  The ldapauth is a plugable authentication module for to authenticate principals on LDAP.
